Generation 9

Welcome back to The Shylife! Last time Lillith gifted Quinn with eternal life so he could see his children grow up, and in return he gave her twin girls! Elliot grew into a rather gorgeous young teen while Miles became a handsome child! Saul revealed that there was a special girl in his life...only problem was she seemed to be mute! And our generation eight couple, Jared and Aleisha, drank young again potions and left their daughter to it! So what is in store this chapter? Well read and find out...

 A few hours after his age-up, Elliot received a visit from the local university mascot.

MASCOT: HOWDY THERE!!!

ELLIOT: Hi?

 MASCOT: Are you thinking of going to university after you graduate?

ELLIOT: Umm...

 MASCOT: Have a good think about it, here's a welcome pack to whet your appetite! So long!

ELLIOT: Thanks! Bye!

 As Elliot rummaged through the stuff he'd been given, his father was testing out the pool!

 QUINN: Geronimooooo!!!

 LIL: Oooh ooooh! Let me try!

QUINN: Jeez woman! Can't I have a bit of peace and quiet???

 Yeah apparently not Quinny!

 QUINN: I mean...I love her and all but...sometimes a man needs his space!

LIL: Underwater contest?

QUINN: Pft, piece of cake! I'll beat your girly lungs any day of the week babe!

LIL: HA! It's on baby vamper! It.Is.On!

 Quinny's a loooooooser!

 LIL: YESSSSS!!!

QUINN: You got lucky sweet cheeks!

LIL: Go again then?

QUINN: I wouldn't want to embarrass you, take the win!

LOL! Quinny is a wimp! XD

 ELLIOT: I WILL be tanned and interesting!

 ELLIOT: Here goes nothing!

 Ummm...

ELLIOT: That is rather stinky!

 ELLIOT: Nice!

 ELLIOT: Time to go to school and show off my tan!

Ha, you'll get slagged off something rotten dear boy!

 Elliot obviously got his tan fetish from his mother as Lillith sat outside at 7am and tried to catch some rays!

 Vampires *sigh* silly silly sims!

 As the sun got too much for her, Lillith brought the twins down and began teaching them the life skills. Starting with Kylie!

 Since Bonehilda had plopped her into the playpen, Kylie had taught herself to talk! Yay Kyles! So all Lillith had to do was teach her to walk, which was not going well at all!

 Meanwhile Caleb found a friend to play with...

 ...and er...eat!

CALEB: *nomnomnomnom* I vant to suck your blud!

 CALEB: Aww I wuvs ya!

 CALEB: Answer me! You just makes me mads teddy!

 CALEB: I is bitin' yer ears off!

 CALEB: You will never learns will ya?

Weird little boy, but cute? O.o

 Quinn joined in on the twin skill building! Taking Luna off of Lil's hands to teach her to walk like her sister!

 Lillith and Quinn were in heaven with their much anticipated little girls! Now that their family was complete, they felt whole and looked forward to the future!

 Elliot did indeed get a lot of ribbing from his classmates, they weren't used to seeing such a perfectly tanned vampire!

ELLIOT: I look stupid, don't I?

Noooooo! ;)

 ELLIOT: Hahahahaha!

What?

 ELLIOT: My eyes and teeth are sooooo bright! I could glow in the dark! Hehehehehe!

 QUINN: Look Luna, look at your silly big brother and his foundation!

LUNA: Brutha, foundations! 

ELLIOT: It's a spray tan dad, not foundation!

 QUINN: Doesn't matter, you look like a girl!

ELLIOT: Well you look like a corpse, but you don't see me complaining!!!

Elliot and Quinn were still having issues since Quinn became a vampire. Elliot couldn't understand why his dad had to change, he was fine the way he was!

 But his father always knew best and sooner or later, Elliot would realise that what he did, he did for the good of the family!

 Prom was coming up, and that was also bothering him! He hadn't met a girl he connected with yet! Saul had found Sapphira, the little mute girl in his class. Elliot felt lonely!

 He so wanted to find that special someone he could share things with and spend time with!

 He'd have to find someone who would take him with this silly tan he'd very foolishly wanted for so long!

 The two younger boys returned home as Quinn was teaching their little sister to talk...

QUINN: Here come your brothers! And they're going to do their homework straight away or do the laundry, it's their choice!

LUNA: Wandwee!

 MILES: Daaaaad!

SAUL: Daaaad I have a friend coming over!

QUINN: Better get your homework done quick then Sauly!

 ELLIOT: How's it going with Sabrina?

SAUL: Sapphira!

ELLIOT: Right! How's it going?

 SAUL: She's coming over later, I managed to get a nod out of her when I asked her!

ELLIOT: Does she ever talk?

 SAUL: Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough!

ELLIOT: You really like her anyway don't you?

SAUL: Very much!

 Finally, Luna learned to talk as Quinn gasped with excitement!

QUINN: Oh good girl Luna!

LUNA: Good gurl! *giggle*

As the doorbell rang, Saul rushed to answer it knowing it would be Sapphira!

 SAUL: Come on in!

Sapphira stood outside looking rather worried.

 SAUL: I'm your friend Sapphy! I'll protect you!

SAPPHIRA: ...

 Satisfied that Saul would look after her, Sapphira suddenly jumped at the sight of Elliot!

 ELLIOT: Hey!

SAUL: It's okay Sapphy this is my big brother, Elliot!

ELLIOT: It's nice to finally meet you!

 Sapphira smiled faintly and gave Elliot a rather regal nod as she began to relax...

 ...seeing all the people made her feel uneasy, but Saul was able to soothe her!

 SAUL: We can go up to my room in a minute once dad has put the twins and Caleb to bed!

Sapphira smiled and looked down at the ground, admiring Saul's green trainers. She hated wearing shoes herself, but she liked to look at other people's footwear!

 SAUL: Do you like computer games Sapphy?

Sapphira smiled again!

 SAUL: Look I know you don't talk much...or ever...but I want you to know that I'm your friend and...would you like to sleep over?

 Sapphira looked Saul straight in the eyes and thought about it...

 ...with a nod  and a cuddle, he had his reply!

 The sight of old Jamal made Sapphira jump...

 ...and giggle a bit!

 She almost ran home, ghosts and vampires?

 but then she shrugged it all off and followed Saul upstairs to his room!

 SAUL: As you can tell, green is kinda my favourite colour!

 The following evening, Lillith and Quinn were offered a free vacation!

 This meant that Elliot was in charge of the house and the younger kids!

 ELLIOT: YESSSSSS HOME ALONE!!!

Not quite kiddo!

 LUNA: Where mummy go!!!

 CALEB: Ewwiot in charge, we is gunna starve!!!

 KYLIE: I no cares, lalalalalalala!!!

 KYLIE: I can eats ma hand! I only needs da one!

 LUNA: Ooohs sissy good plans!

 CALEB: Whuts??? You gurls is crazy things!

 Miles tried to calm Caleb by playing peek-a-boo!

 MILES: BOOOO!

CALEB: Ack!

 CALEB: Okies do that agains I is ready!

MILES: Okay Caleb!

 MILES: BOOOO!

CALEB: GAH!

 CALEB: Okies agains! I is ready fur sures dis time!

MILES: Ready?

CALEB: Yeses!

 MILES: BOOOOO!

CALEB: Oh for the love of...slower der brother! Okies agains!

 MILES: This is too easy!

 MILES: I almost don't want to scare him again...but...I will!

 Elliot felt he was handling things well. Having sent Bonehilda back into her coffin for glitching he took control of the todds as Carly stayed out later than usual to keep an eye!

 CARLY: Absolute shambles! Ugh I gotta get back! You kids try not to die okay?

SAUL: WHAT?

LUNA: We is doomed!

 LUNA: Bogie sandwich fur lunch AGAINS!

 Bonehilda was let back out while the older kids went to school, but she continued to sink into the floor! The toddlers occupied themselves at the block table...

 ...but something was bothering Kylie!

 KYLIE: Waaaaah! Stinkeee potty can't go there noooooeeeesssss!

 LUNA: Wut a wuss!

CALEB: Uh-huhs!

 To be fair though, the potty had been like that since Lillith and Quinn left!

 Luna decided to try and ignore the stench and play with her siblings!

KYLIE: I can do this! I cans!

 KYLIE: GAWD NOES I CANNOT! The smell is terribles!

 That night Saul decided to stay out of the road and went to the little house at the back of the lot. As he sat down to do his homework he thought he could hear breathing in the other room...

 ...unable to see much in the dark, he could have sworn there was a figure lying on one of the beds...

 ...switching the light on, he was surprised to see Sapphira fast asleep!

 SAUL: Sapphy?

 Sapphira awoke to the sound of Saul's voice and rubbed her eyes sleepily...

 ...and realising where she was, jumped off the bed swiftly and ran out the door...

 ...embarrassed that she had been caught!

 She stopped dead in her tracks to the sound of Saul calling after her...

SAUL: SAAAAAAPPPPHHHYYYYY! WAAAAAAIT!!!

 SAUL: Sapphy I told you the other night...I will protect you! What's going on?

Sapphira gave him one of her looks...

 ...and he could see that she wanted to speak but something was stopping her!

 SAUL: Are you in trouble?

SAPPHIRA: ...

SAUL: Please Sapphy!

SAPPHIRA: A...lone!

SAUL: What?

SAPPHIRA: Nobody home! She's...gone!

It was the first time Saul had ever heard her speak! And she had the sweetest, loveliest voice!

 SAUL: Sapphy, you can stay here!

SAPPHIRA: My cat!

SAUL: Your cat can stay too!

SAPPHIRA: Saul!

Sapphira smiled from ear to ear, the mere mention of his name was a message that she was grateful! No other words were needed! And boy did his name sound sweet rolling off of her tongue!

 SAUL: Sapphy go get your cat!

MILES: What's this?

SAUL: Sapphy is going to stay with us, the woman looking after her is gone!

 MILES: Saul mum and dad are going to kill you!

 SAUL: MILES! I don't want to talk about this in front of Sapphy!

MILES: She can't stay...

SAUL: Butt out!

 Sapphira sat on the floor and rocked back and forth nervously as the two brothers argued over her.

MILES: Elliot won't let you!

SAUL: Let me deal with Elliot, and you keep your opinions to yourself okay?

 Saul agreed to pick up Olaf, Sapphira's cat, as Miles looked at her with worry. He liked the girl, but when mum and dad got back Saul was so dead!

 As was this poor lady...

 ...welcome to casa Von Strunkle, please die quietly! HA!

 Young Olaf seemed to settle in almost instantly!

 But unfortunately before Saul could explain things to Elliot...

ELLIOT: Umm, why is there a cat here?

 Elliot was eventually okay with Sapphira living with them, but Miles still wasn't happy! Sapphira watched as she was once again the topic of their disagreement!

 MILES: Maybe you could call social services or...

SAUL: Miles I am gonna beat you so hard if you don't SHUT UPPPPP!!!

 Saul wasn't usually a violent child, but he was extremely over-protective of Sapphira, even his own brother didn't stand a chance!

 MILES: Sauly, you wouldn't hit me! We're brothers!

SAUL: If you keep on about Sapphy I will!

 Miles had never seen this side to Saul, and he didn't like it one bit! He also didn't like the thought of his parents coming home and seeing Sapphira and Olaf living there without their permission!

 Sapphira had to get out, she hated being the cause of the rift! So she and Olaf had a pet in the garden as she whispered to him in an odd language.

 She wanted so badly to stay with Saul, but not if it cost him his family!

 It was Sapphira's birthday just before Saul's and they celebrated together!

 Saul was excited to see the teenage Sapphy!

 He couldn't wait to age up! He adored what he saw!

 He made a wish for everything to be alright!

 Hoping that he would have the courage to stand up to his parents if need be, he became a teenager...

Kabooooom!!!

 Sapphira also liked what she saw!

Saul is now Family-Oriented!

 Newly aged and made over, Saul wanted so badly to be near Sapphy!

 He took one look at her beautiful face...

 ...and kissed her as passionately as he could!

 She was taken aback by his forwardness, but rewarded him with a grin!

 SAUL: I'm sorry Sapphy! I've wanted to do that forever!

 SAUL: I've been...crazy about you since we were put in the same class! Sapphy...

 SAUL: ...I wanna tell you...that I love you!

 SAUL: I love you and I will protect and defend you from this moment on! Sapphy? Please say something?

 SAUL: Sapphy?

 Sapphira managed a whisper...

SAPPHIRA: Saul!

...of his name! It wasn't what she said, it was the look on her face and the meaning in her eyes that told him exactly what she meant and what she was thinking!

 As they kissed properly this time, both consenting, Saul's heart raced as he tasted her sweet lips for the second time that day!

 Sapphira drew him into a hug and whispered something else...

SAPPHIRA: I...love you Saul!

And he felt an overwhelming urge to scream with joy and dance all around the kitchen! But he settled for her in his arms at that moment...for now!

 Elliot and Olaf had formed a bit of a bond, Elliot cared for the strange looking moggie by filling his food bowl and buying him a litter box!

 He was an odd cat in every way...

 ...but very smart!

 OLAF: A cat must never enter the mouth of a fish...it is the other way around! Stupid humans!

 The time had come, Saul's parents had returned from their free holiday as he prepared to explain Sapphira's presence!

 SAUL: Dad, Sapphira is staying with us!

QUINN: She is, is she?

SAUL: Yes, her guardian is gone and...

 As Sapphira was yet again the subject of Saul's conversation, she stood uneasily dreading the thought of Saul and his father falling out over her like he had with his younger brother!

 QUINN: Hi Sapphira!

Sapphira still looked worried as Quinn was trying to be nice and welcoming...

QUINN: Sauly you'll have to talk to your mum about this, she's the heiress, she's the boss!

 Saul knew his dad would say that, and he had a feeling his mum would be against the whole thing! Why he wasn't sure, but it was a gut feeling!

 And before he could break the news himself, Elliot was already blabbing to Lillith!

ELLIOT: So now she lives here with her cat, Olaf who is the cutest little...

LIL: He WHAAAAT???

 Sapphira was beginning to contemplate running away to spare Saul this trouble...

SAUL: Mum, please don't be mad!

 LIL: Sauly, you can't just invite people to live here without asking me!

SAUL: Mum, she had no one! What was I to do?

 LIL: You love her, my baby boy's in love!

SAUL: Yes mum! I do! I can't have her living alone!

 LIL: I just can't let her stay without finding out where her legal guardian is! Let me call  the school and make some enquiries. I want to make sure it's alright for her to be here okay Sauly?

SAUL: Thanks mum, thanks so much! Sapphy and I are so grateful!

 LIL: Steady there sweetie, doesn't mean she can stay! She might have another guardian or relative that has the legal right to her!

SAUL: I know, but thanks for supporting us!

 Saul explained to Sapphira what was happening, she didn't want to stay with anyone else! She wanted Saul!

 He could see how distressed she was and drew her into a hug, rubbing her shoulder affectionately to soothe her! 

 SAPPHIRA: Saul!

 She whimpered his name, frightened that they would be separated!

SAUL: Sapphy, I promise you...I won't let anyone take you away from me!

SAPPHIRA: Saul!

The word she said the most...was always his name! She only ever said his name, yes she had said a few other words to him, but his name was her favourite word and she said it in place of anything else, gauging her expression as she said it was what Saul did best!

 Saul's mum appeared a while later and cleared her throat as she saw her son and this young girl snuggling on the sofa.

LIL: Right! I managed to get some information from the school and got through to a Lavinia Hawthorne. She's your cousin on your mother's side and she's been looking for you ever since your grandmother died! She's married now and is called Anderson, she has three children with her husband Terry and she seems settled. When I told her the situation all that concerned her was that you were also settled! She'd heard that your guardian was "missing" but had no way of contacting you!

SAUL: So what happened mum?

 LIL: Well apparently what happened was this guardian packed her bags and left, she wanted to leave the coven so she just made a run for it while Sapphira was at school! Nobody knows where she is and I made a promise to Mrs Anderson, so...

LIL: ...you're welcome to stay here with us for as long as you want. But I do have some ground rules seeing as you've stolen my son's heart! You can sleep in Saul's room, but in your OWN BED! All I ask of you is that you help out with the toddlers now and again, since my mother moved out I've felt rather lonely of female company.

SAUL: See Sapphy? I told you it would be okay!

LIL: Now you kids go and get ready for school!

Sapphira gave Lillith a grateful smile and snuggled even further into Saul. She was happy to have somewhere to live, but the thought of there being a cousin out there that she had never met? It made her wonder where she came from and who she really was!

So Sapphira now lives with Saul! She has said a few words but her favourite is his name, AWWWW!!! I wonder how Saul will react to her little secret, to be revealed next chapter! Byeeeee! ;)
